USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS)
has a zero tolerance for certain pathogens,
including Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes,
in cooked and ready-to-eat products,
such as chicken franks or lunch meat,
that can be eaten without further cooking.
